Some good news from Great Lakes Renewable Energy, Inc.

The Lumber Jack pellets plant is beginning to re-formulate our flavored BBQ pellets to a 60% Oak and 40% flavorwood instead of the current 70% Oak and 30% flavorwood blend. We will have our 60% Oak-40% flavorwood pellets available in Apple, Pecan, Mesquite, Hickory, Cherry, and Maple.

We are also going to change our Multi-Blend OHC "Oak, Hickory, Cherry" from the current 70% Oak 15% Hickory 15% Cherry to a 33% blend of 1/3rd Oak-1/3rd Hickory and 1/3rd Cherry. This will give you two Multi-Blend products to choose from:  MHC-Maple, Hickory and Cherry (1/3rd of each species) and OHC-Oak, Hickory and Cherry (1/3rd of each species).

We are in the process of doing the burn tests now to ensure all blends provide equal heat etc.

Of course, we will continue to produce our 100% hardwood pellets in Hickory, Cherry, Maple, & Oak.

We are listening to you and are consistently improving where we can!  We want to ultimately produce the very best pellets in the industry -- we are a plant that can do it!  Happy end users make our dealers happy and that's our goal!

We have been getting absolutely STERLING reviews from users!  We have also been able to eliminate the 'long pellet' problem with very few if any long pellets now getting into production.

YOU CAN'T BEAT THESE WISCONSIN HARDWOODS FOR THE BEST BBQ PELLETS.  It takes a long time to grow a hardwood tree in the Northern WI and MN climate, but the wait is well worth it.

Thanks, and keep giving us feedback!

P.S.  We are an actual manufacturing plant that uses real trees and
processes them into our products. We are not a co-bagger that
simply relies on another manufacturer who may use residue
products which are impossible to trace to their original origins.

yes, your pellets have been coming in very consistent in size recently and the flavors/results have been great. We tried a lot of pellets manufactures to custom bag for us and we have been more than please with the results from Great Lakes.
