Title: Kirkland 20 lb Hardwood Lump at Costco for $9.69
Post by: toys4dlr on June 02, 2007, 06:03:54 pm
Hello All,

I know that there has been the thread for the Home Depot charcoal, Which I picked up 4 bags.  However, I was shopping at my favorite place, Costco (this one was on Yorkshire and 17) and I came upon Kirkland Lump.  I am going to be cooking some skirt steak tonight with the lump, but I thought I would let you guys know.

It looks good, not scrap lumber but true wood, as there is some bark on some pieces.  They are a little large (Bigger than my fist), which is can be good or bad depending on what type of cooker you are using.  In my Stump's I like them a little smaller, but on my Kamado I like larger lump.

Here is the example of the lump pieces.

I only bought one bag, but I might be back for more
