Post by: VisionQuest220 on May 21, 2009, 03:13:18 pm
Kingsford Blue Bag Charcoal in 21.6 lb. twin packs are now on sale at valley Home Depot locations for $8.97, down from $15.98.  This is a great deal and likely the best we'll see all year.  Time to stock up.

Kingsford Competition Charcoal is not on sale.

It's still available down here in the W Valley.  I picked up a bunch at the Dysart HD.

The Lowes in Buckeye was totally cleaned out though.

Picked up 4 double packs today in Havasu at Homer, they also had 9 lb bags that worked out cheaper per pound for one day only.

I checked out a store today and found that the sale was over.

Bummer.

I only nabbed 6 twin packs last Thursday and didn't make it back.

Faced with the fact that the 2 most successful teams attached to this group use K-Blue and what I just read on http://virtualweberbullet.com/charcoal.html (http://virtualweberbullet.com/charcoal.html), I must admit defeat, and soften my stance against K blooey based solely on the fact that it has coal and limestone in it and everybody uses it. I'll just continue to use other just to march to a different drummer...maybe it's a meds thing...
