Title: Free wood for a drive..
Post by: azkitch on January 25, 2012, 05:33:17 pm
I went down to Tuxon Monday, and the pecan orchards just north of Picacho Peak has piles of trimmings and other wood, large sign that says 'Free Pecan Wood'. Looks like everything from twigs to arm thickness branches--Average arms, not Ahnold...
Take a chain saw, cuz it didn't look cut...

Dave,

Do you come down to Tuscon often?  I need to buy something from BBQ Island, but hate paying shipping costs.

Hey Mike what did you need? I can bring it to Havasu and send it back with Auggie. I'll be at the shop first thing in the morning. Just call in tonight and pay for it and they will box it up.

Eyeball + video equipment for the Hilton Conquistador. It turned into a nightmare!

And Mike P; no, I don't get down there often. I work part time as a courier, and my company runs down there on Mondays, but it's not usually me. If that changes, I'll let you know!

Thanks for the offer, Bam Bam.  But I have found another online seller where I can get what I need cheaper and with free shipping.
