Dick, I like the way a Kamado cooks ribs because of the flavor that fat hitting fire provides. :P Plus, it's great that you have that Smart & Final so conveniently close to the house. Nice rib-cooking weather, too! ;D

I don't eat vegetables. The meat I eat, eats vegetables.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

You don't have to loan Dave the money I paid in full for a lifetime membership at Smart & Final when I picked up my charcoal yesterday there

OUCH!!

Man, I thought my prices (at work) were high.  $7.99 a bag.

But, you've got to get past me. :D  Although, I've got 5 (6?) unopened bags, and the open one I'm working on.

Seriously, I thought this was going to be about mesquite chunks, not charcoal.

Currently cooking with a newly built UDS,(thanks to Skouson, my brother) which is my current best smoker.  I've also got a Weber Performer, also from Sterling.  My brothers think I'm CRAZY.  (Strangely, they're right.)
