Whooo.... we actually have our first BBQ store in Lake Havasu!!  A couple of businessmen in Havasu who got 12 people to buy Eggs a few years ago to have fun, are now opening a small store.  I stopped by to check it out an they have a nice selection of Eggs and some accessories along with Egg lump charcoal.

Also supprized to see Dizzy Pig spices until Jim (one of the owners) explained that they had brought one of that team to Havasu to teach them how to use the Eggs a few years ago.  They are also having an Egg class in February with the Dizzy people again.

That's great news.  Hopefully this year we can get an event up there as well.

Being the only "BBQ" Store in Lake Havasu, I think it would be great for them to be a Club/Site Sponsor... Hint Hint...  ;)

Update.... Store name is Southwest Big Green Egg Company. And they just brought in some nice wood chunks for smokin.  Apple, Pecan, Peach, Oak, Cherry and Apricot in small bags for $4.00 so nice for me!!

And Mike, I told them about the sponsor fees again and he is going to tell partner about it and get back to me.

Yea, I would love to get more sponsors from around the state.  We did just pick up a new cater from the Prescott area.  I will be posting details on them soon.

We are a Statewide Club, so getting the word out there to different BBQ related business around the state is a great way to really get the entire state involved with the club.

Thanks for the help Quiggs...  It's always appreciated..  ;)

It is difficult...I have approached a few local business but they all have the same thing to say...bad time of year, bad economy...etc, etc.

I do need to get some business cards made up so I look more official when I approach them.

That is cool about the egg store!
