Eggs in the Desert
« on: February 14, 2010, 04:53:24 pm »
Wow totally CRAZY, yes totally! The day was a total success from Sun up to Sun down, I always thought the Harley people were a great rowdy crowd to hang around. Now after cooking on a Big Green Egg several Saturdays in row at BBQ islands to fine tune my cooking ability's it was great to rub elbows with the local Egg heads and BBQ Teams that showed up to promote BBQ islands & Big Green egg, Kudos goes out to the BBQ islands Team, Mike, Shelton,JT, Ernie, what a blast. Has to be the best BBQ store in PHX. Thanks allot guys. The factory reps were totally cool and to top it off hanging out with Dr. BBQ made this event the best. Even though my wife Tina and I totally sucked on the Iron egg contest it was a learning experience. She is known on our BBQ team (TEAM MB) as Pit Princess. Hey Guys when the next EGG fest? I forgot my camera so didn't take any pictures if any members did would like to see some posted if possible.

Mike, it was great meeting you and your wife out there, it sure was a great time.

Hope to see you out at lots of our other events as well.  As you can see, we do have a blast at them.

We did take some pictures and I hope to have some posted later today.

Hey Mike, you are so right about the great job that BBQ Island did putting on the fest.  Kim and I go to a lot of them and they are addicting.  Also it was great finally meeting you since I've been a member here since 07.  There are a lot of pics posted on the egghead forum.  -RP
