Just finished building this BUFORD as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law.
He's and avid ATV rider and has a home and a few quads in Flag.
He has a few acres and will be storing BUFORD on the corner of his property and will use a quad to grab it and bring it to the house.
Tongue is removable and pins to the back of the frame.

Thanks all! 8)
Going to break the camo unit in on 11/27.
It should cook just fine like my other drums that share the same design. This
camo unit is a duplicate of this one;

Nice looking units!! Could of used those up in Kodiak, Alaska as we 4-wheeled around for bear. Betcha the bear would have come right into camp and saved us a lot of work!! ;D :laugh: :laugh: ;D

The second unit looks great too

Friggin awesome dude!! Love both versions!!

What did you use for the camo paint? Do you think it''ll hold up?

Light sanded the drum, sprayed the Rust-O- Leum heat paint as a base.
Then sprayed the Rust-Oleum camo paints.
So far about 6 cooks on it and no signs of peeling, etc.
BIL with his new BUFORD

Great looking indeed. How many ball valve's do they have? I take it enough air intake is not a problem?

3) 1" ball valves, gets plenty of air and also can maintain 180 degree temps for smoking salmon, etc. No leakage around the access door or cone top. These things work great!

You don't want to know how much I got in them,,thanks!

My mom always told me I was "special" when I was a kid as she walked me to the short school bus, is genius the same?
