I'm in Phoenix for meetings all week and they are taking us out to dinner Thursday night at Toby Keith's. Is the food any good and do they have BBQ? Never heard of the place so I'm clueless.

Staying at I-10 and Baseline at the AZ Grand Resort. Is this place close to the Toby?

We are supposed to wrap up around noon on Friday. I'm going across the street to Fry's when we do get out and look for a power supply for one of my computers and then on to BBQ Island for my first visit there!

Nice. AZ Grand used to be the Pointe, and they did a great remodel job. You'll find what you need at Fry's, and you'll love BBQ Island. Have fun here in town.

Thanks guys. Wish I had time to try and hook up with some of you but they keep us busy when we're at these functions. Seems like we only have time to sleep when it comes to free time.

funny....i'm about 1.5 miles from where you are staying. just went to bbq island yesterday.......if you see shelton tell him the thermometer for chef rob fit perfect!

I had some folks stop in one day and eat, on their way to Vegas to try Toby's place. They said they couldn't wait to get back here because BBQ bologna just wasn't where it was at.

Since there were so many of us, they set up a buffet line. No BBQ bologna but nothing else to write home about either. Best part of the meal were the drinks and the peach cobbler.
We are going to have to come see you when we vacation trip to Utah this year.
