Not really a BBQ joint per se, but it is definitely where I go when I got a hankerin for Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes and a Shiner Bock!  Got in there again the other night for yet another artery clogging masterpiece!  Could not even get through the half of it.  Excellent grub and great atmoshphere......anyone who has not been, make it a new years resolution to give it a try.  Don't miss the biscuits in the bread basket that come out before.  Heavenly.

Just west of HWY 51 on the north side of Bethany Home.

From the I'm so old department--Last time--or maybe next to last-- I ate there, it was still called Lone Star, not related to the mega-chain.
Decades of awesomeness.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!
