I went past stacy's barbeque today and Stacy's name is painted over. Anyone know anything about that?

From my understanding him and his wife divorced and she got the location on Indian School.  He has since opened up a location on 7th St. north of Northern.

Well, his new place on 7th Street is done. I just stopped by since I saw some guys pulling everything out of the restaurant. The guys didn't give me much info but he is no longer there and that's all they would say.

The whole thing is odd. The location on Indian School is completely vacant and it still has everything still inside it. The location in Sunnyslope lasted a year or so. The Scottsdale location closed. I had also heard that he was to take over the old Circle H Barbecue location on 7th Ave and Camelback about a year ago and that didn't happy. Stacy is a nice guy and I hope everything works out but man, he's had a rough 2 years.

My wife had a garage sale a couple weeks ago and a guy showed up looking for items going in a new BBQ place. He saw my smokers staged and had conversation with my wife about opening a new place with Stacy and out looking for artifacts to put in the new place.

Stacy stopped by to try my food yesterday at the farmers market. He is reopening his location on Indian School and the 51 hopefully by the end of the month. He seemed happy to be going back to that location.
