New!
I sure didn't know you could get a patent on how to de-bone ribs or why you'd even want to do that!!
Shark Tank Gave Him $300,000 for 30% ownership. Bubba-Q sales topped $400,000 in the next 5 months!

Al "Bubba" Baker calls it a 'Rib Steak' because you eat it with a knife and fork (just like eating a steak!)
His official patent shown here:

http://www.bubbasbonelessribs.com/pages/what-is-a-rib-steakSaw Bubba's pitch for boneless babyback ribs on the 'Shark Tank' Investors TV show recently.
The Sharks evidently liked the fact that they can eat Bubba-Q's boneless ribs in their fancy Shark suits!!
It was Al's wife, Sabrina, who was the inspiration for Bubba's boneless ribs. When he brought her to the family restaurant in Jacksonville for the first time, she said ribs were "too messy." That did not exactly endear her to the Baker family, but luckily, Mr. Baker overlooked her "one shortcoming" and kept her around. She now runs the business end of the Bubba's Q while Al mans the kitchen.
The thought of ribs being "too messy to eat at a formal dinner" gnawed at Baker for years, and he eventually patented his boneless ribs which you eat like a steak, but are the ORIGINAL RIB meat, not processed pork.
