Hey all, one of our members, Rodney McClain just got the keys for the new "Appetites BBQ & Catering Restaurant" located at 12725 W. Indian School Road Avondale, AZ, 602-908-5771. It is two blocks East of Dysart Road. He and his family plan to open in a couple of weeks.
I talked with Rodney yesterday to see if he would be competing at the November event this year and he told me about his new venture. We met Rodney a year ago out in Surprise when he was catering BBQ out at Spring Training. Great guy, great setup and great food.
Once we find out when his grand opening will be, we will let everyone know. I told him we would do an AZBarbeque gathering to concide with his grand opening.
