David, a place to consider would be in Goodyear. We will have a new mall built by 2016 and with the new 303 nearly complete it's a great way to get to Anthem

We finally get the keys on Thursday.  We have about 4 weeks of stuff to do before we open give or take. It was a battle the whole way with the contractor. We are planning on having beer and wine what a pain in the A??. I found out in Phoenix you don't want to do it an ask for forgivness later they dont play that game very well. How is your place coming along?

At least you are on your way Danny. Right now I'm waiting for our outdoor cooking variance hearing which is next week. If all goes well we will have our keys in two weeks and at that point the mad rush begins. My goal is to have everything approved by the end of December but open mid January.

I saw the sign tonight--didn't realize it would be a Q joint. My first thought was how tough an act The Place will be to follow! Good luck!

PS You will certainly fill a need. There are no BBQ places around in that neck of the woods until you reach Arrowhead. Then it's Famous Dave's. He's got a reputation, but it's still a chain! I deliver auto parts between McDowell and Northern, from I-17 to 59th Ave. I'll spread the word...I know a bunch of people that'll be interested...

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Bring a lunch! What is that, 90 miles? (Yes, I know. I exaggerate) I used to work in that plaza, and I live just off Black Cyn. Freeway just south of Greenway...

Thanks Dave,    We found out though city records when we went to apply for the liqcor license that cents 1989 there has been 3 restaunts in that location and all 3 have moved on to bigger location and are still open today. We hope the tradition carries on. Thanks for spreading the news. We are hoping to be open by the end of November 1st week of December. I will keep all posted.

Yes Thee Pitts is on 55the ave and bell. The suite is 3100 sq ft plus a 740 sq ft patio. Be glad you didn't the property owner has been a pain in the BUTT. Just a word of advise any property that Zells realty is in voled in beware. This has been a fight the whole way and still battling.
