I had a meeting regarding the October 15th event out in Buckeye today and we met at Memphis Best BBQ out there.

Darryl has an amazing place out there and his BBQ is very good.

I walked in and immediately saw that he had Smoked Bologna on the menu and knew I had to order that. 

Let me tell you.  I have now had that at only 3 BBQ restaurants and this one was by far the best one I have ever had.  I've even made it myself before out at an ASU Tailgate party and this one blew it away.

If you are out that way, make sure to stop by & try them out and tell them you are from AZBarbeque..

It's not the Darryl from Rite Way Catering, that's Darryl King.

This Darryl does know his BBQ as well.  All Memphis style with lots of sauce, but all very good..

Darryl has a very nice thing going in downtown Buckeye.  His restaurant is one of the very few things that I miss about Buckeye.  Great guy, great cook and he's the nephew of Jim Neeley.....the dude has BBQ in his blood.  If you don't know who Jim Neeley is, google the name. 

Oh yeah, best fries in AZ.

Jim Neely is the man behind BBQ spaghetti. That also means he's related to the lovey dovey couple on "Down Home With The Neelys." I practically have to take an insulin shot to watch that show.

Isn't it funny how something as basic as french fries can really stand out when they are done by someone good? There used to be a Mill Ave. bar with lots of beers on tap. Their handcut fries were a thing of beauty. Darryl's sound like they are worth the trip!

I have not tried his fries, but Crash you did not try ours.  Really good fries, seasoned with our rub.  I think Crash is going stir crazy on that island.     either that or the cravings from the local "Kind"    has him hungry.
