What about Lucille's?  I have been over there about 4 times in the last month for lunch meetings.  I found that what I ordered was pretty good.  I've eaten the ribs (dry) and tri tip entrees.

They serve all their drinks in Mason Jars which is awesome.  Just like being at home ;D

I have been there twice, once when they first opened, then again a few months ago.

I wasn't overly impressed with the food and they were not all that friendly when we were there.  We introduced ourselves and told them about the club and they were just like, yea, whatever.  Not sure why...

They are very big in California, and they do have a great location here in town, so I'm sure they will do well.   If you stop there again, let them know about AZBarbeque as well..  ;)  It never hurts to keep our name in front of these places..

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

I have to agree about the jars...  Where else can you get 12 jars/glasse for 6 bucks that are bullet proof and last forever???  Just like home......

My wife and I went down to Lucille's tonight, our first time down there and our last I am sure. We got the dinner for two, there was lots of food on it, but the only thing worth while was the chicken. The ribs were dry and tasted a bit like rubber!! I think they either cooked them yesterday, or just left them sitting in the smoker all day ??? We chose the brisket as our other meat, and it was so fatty, they left the fat cap on it at least the pieces we got anyway.  As for our sides we chose baked potato and french fries, I have to wonder how you can screw either of these up, but they managed to... The potato tasted like it was oil, there was no potato flavor at all.. it was nasty... And the french fries tasted like they were cooked in 3 month old oil..
So we had a very bad experience.  I did like the size of the drinks, but that's about it

what a night at Lucille's!

let me start by saying my Party of 9 got there at 1900 (7pm) and had a 30 min wait. Then we are seated outside (it was a nice night). About 5 mins later our waitress comes and takes our drink orders and says shes going to bring biscuits. 10 mins later we order or food my fiancee and I order LUCILLE'S PARLOR PLATTER chicken, pulled pork and rib tips, with the sides as garlic mashed potatos and baked beans.

ok now heres the crappy part. after we order the party (of about 15) behind us places there order about 10 mins after. So about 1 hour later there food shows up and then about a half an hour our food shows up.

Ranking system: 1/5= pure crap 2/5= below average 3/5= average 4/5= above average 5/5= amazing

Here is my ranking on the foods I ordered:

FOOD:
chicken= 5/5
pulled pork= 3/5
rib tips= 4/5
taters= 5/5
beans= 1/5.

BUSINESS:
service= 2/5
price= 3/5
cleanliness= 2/5
atmosphere= 3/5

overall= 28/45

I really don't know why it takes 1.5 hours to plate and serve food that should already be cooked. Think about it this shit has been cooking for several hours why would someone wait that long. Good thing I had lots of people to talk to cause if I were alone I would have flipped out on these retards. I better stop there before I rip this company a new one.
