Joe's Real BBQ has really gone downhill

I never thought Joe's served anything exceptional, but I always thought the food was at least good.  I used to live 200 yards away so it wasn't uncommon for me to visit 2-3 times a week due to convenience.  Any ways, I've been in Gilbert a few times these past couple of months and made some stops in.  I am not sure if it's the quality of the meat, or how it's being cooked but everything I've tried has been terrible.  Meat is fat... lots of fat.  Meat is either dry so is it old or overcooked?  Even my brother texted me last night asking for a new place to try because he was disappointed.  It used to be pretty popular so I could count on turn over on food and at least get something fresh.

I wonder if Joe has just given up and allocated all his time to the Farm Grill, which I actually think is still quite good.
