Stopped by and met the owners of Fritzi's Soul Food and BBQ today.  Oliver and Fritzi and they are really great people.

Great restaurant they have there, off of Dysart and the I-10 Freeway in the Sam's Club parking lot just South of the freeway.

If you get a chance, go check them out and let them know you are with AZBarbeque.

Very clean restaurant with a great menu.

I had the Pulled Pork sandwich along with some Fried Catfish and Sweet Potato Casserole and WOW was it all good, especially that Casserole.

Tom has the Beef Brisket sandwich and it too was good.

If you are in the area, make sure to stop over there and try them out.

Here are some photos from today.

I stopped by today to pick up a menu. We had already eaten lunch. The smoker outside was cool. There were a few people in there. Kinda pricey, but we will eat there soon.

Stopped in at Fritzi's today and had lunch.  Ordered up the Catfish & rib tip combo plate and an order of ribs on the site.

It was all great food.  Not too spicy with some great flavor.  That Catfish is just incredible.

They also have the BEST Sweet Potato Pie and I DON'T eat Sweet Potato Pie.

If you get a chance to visit them, please do and let them know you are a member of AZBarbeque.

They are a family run business and are some really great folks.

I've stopped in there twice to tell them about AZBarbeque.  First visit went well and I told them about a few of our upcoming events.  Very nice folks, very clean establishment.  Had I not just eaten, I would have ordered something.  Second visit, Health Dept Inspection.  Obviously, no time to chat.  I basically walked in, handed off some flyers and walked out.

I did attempt to take my daughter there for lunch on a Sunday...no dice...closed.

So, I have not eaten there, but I did like what I saw and smelled.  They did have an interesting menu.  I'll make sure to get over there soon.... this time to eat.

No soul food joints on the hill. When we get moved gunna go checkout a joint that has a soul food sunday brunch with live gospel band. Hopefully they have fried chicken and waffles, then Cindy won't have to here me complain anymore about not being able to get my fried chicken and waffles.
