Went over to Famous Daves at Arrowhead tonight with my wife and a few friends.  They were slammed and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

When we finally got seated, we enjoyed one of the best meals we have had in a while.  We ordered their Family Feast Platter that feeds 4 - 5 people and let's just say, we barely put a dent into it.  But boy was it good.  We also had their great brownie dessert and that was decedent...

Great Staff, they really took care of us and made sure we all enjoyed our meal and our experience.  The Manager John even came over a few times and talked with us.

Great Time, Great Food, Great Service and Great Fun.

Went over to the Famous Daves over in Mesa tonight.  Took a few of my partners and the family.

I love walking into Famous Daves.  First off, it smells like BBQ as soon as you hit the door.  Then, they have all those great items on the walls to read and look over, it really makes you feel like you are down south.

They had a special menu in addition to their normal menu tonight.  It was BBQ Steak with either Ribs, Chicken, Pork, Brisket or just as a sandwich on it's own.  I ordered the one with the Rotisserie Chicken and I have to say, it was probably one of the best steaks I have ever had.  The flavor on it was incredible.  Now understand, I am a steak guy, I LOVE Steak and I have both eatin and cooked my share.  This was by far one of the Best I had ever had.  It was that good.

Of course, we had to order the Catfish fingers as well, those are just fantastic.

If you get a chance, stop in and try out their limited menu.  Tell them you are with AZBarbeque as Famous Daves is one of our great Club Sponsors and really seems to be a great supporter of the local BBQ Scene.

I went to Famous Daves tonight with a bunch of the people who Volunteered out at the Cook-off last weekend and WOW, what a great time we had.

The Staff over there was incredible.  A few of us wore our AZBarbeque shirts and I think every one of their staff members came over and said Hello.  They also brought us out a bunch of "Taster" items including their new BBQ Steak which I have to say is one of the best steaks I have ever had and I've had a few.  Their manager, Ryan, gave us a tour of the Kitchen and everyone loved when he opened up the smoker.  The smell was just incredible.  Our Server, Shelley was outstanding and very knowledgable.

We ordered up a few of the Ultimate Feasts with different things on each one and they were incredible.  Everything was great and we had just a fantastic meal and a great time.

Thanks again to all of our great Volunteers for helping out at the event, it's because of you that these events run so smoothly.  We do appreciate your support.

Thanks to Famous Daves for making our experience so enjoyable.

If you get a chance to go in there, make sure to tell them you are an AZBarbeque member and thank them for being one of our great Club Sponsors.

Mike, where is the Famous Daves in Mesa?

They must have built that one after I moved up here.  We have one in Layton, and it is fantastic as well.  I haven't decided though if I like Dave's or Holy Smoke more.  Holy Smoke, also in Layton is just a small shop, but the owner/cook is great.

The one in Mesa is their newest one.  It is located right at the 101 and 202 interchange.  It's off the Dobson exit on the 202.

Cool, that's about 4 miles from my brothers place.  I'll have to check it out when I'm down there next year.

I do not think "I" could finish it...maybe if you did not eat the potatoes or the corn bread...then maybe but it would be pushing it.
