So I went back to Byran's yesterday and we got a Brisket sandwich and pulled pork(both without sauce).
Brisket:
One of the best brisket sandwich's I have ever had(I ordered it chopped, which is the only way I order brisket on sandwich), brisket was cooked to perfection and the bread that was toasted made it even better. They do have a #1 brisket of Phoenix 2010 award and I see why. GRADE: A+
Pulled Pork:
If you are going to get it, order without sauce. I personally don't really enjoy their sauces a little to tangy for me but that's my personal opinion. The pulled pork was decent( I don't see it winning any competitions) I felt its major down fall was its overall lack of flavor, ( and I see why when I first ordered one 2 weeks ago why they drowned it in sauce.) It was moist, and look very good. GRADE: B-
Atmosphere: This place differently has the not chain(hole in the wall) feel to it which usually spells out good eats. Very clean place and both times I have been in there, Sat at 1:30pm and a Wed at 4:00pm the place was over halfway full if not more.
This place is about 40 min from my Apartment so this will probably be one of those once every 2 months places I would go, and go just for the Delicious Brisket sandwich.
