This was my favorite place. We got the family feast because I had to take some food home to our kids. They kept bringing out plates. We enjoyed brisket, pulled pork, and mild sausage all accompanied by three sauces. The side dishes were mac-n-cheese, beans and toasted garlic bread. And of course chocolate chip cookies for dessert. We shared with all who wanted a taste and had plenty to take home to the kids. The meats were pretty basic, but you could add the sauces to bring out the taste you wanted. I like sweet and mild, but I know others in our group went for the spicy. I am definitely heading back.

I have been here before and enjoyed it so; I thought we should let people that may not have tried it get the chance. This is a BBQ joint started by 2 guys that love eating BBQ and thought they would share there love. When I was setting this up I had the pleasure of Meeting Ben who is one of the owners. He has a real passion for real BBQ and that is what they are trying to instill in the restaurant. He is also a member of the club. He was very excited about us paying them a visit on our crawl. When we showed up we where greeted by the staff with smiling face and welcomes around. I spoke with Jared who is the other owner he made us feel right at home. Mike and I and Dorothy share a family feast and let me say feast was an understatement. We had the brisket, Pork and sausage our side where Mac and cheese and Beans and Brushfire bread oh yea it also came with 4 cookies. We also got a sampling of 3 of there sauces which were very good. I was using the bread to make hoagies and let me tell you it was fantastic. The sides were very good and as for the cookies I have no idea as they where gone when I went to get one. Jared then took us back and showed us what they cook on which was a very nice ole hickory. Brushfire was a great stop on our Journey and would say if you get a chance stop by and tell them AzBarbeque sent ya.

Brushfire was our second stop on today's BBQ Crawl and it was worthy of being on our tour today.

As we rolled in, I could see the Restaurant and it looked very appealing.  Parking was in back and as soon as we got out of the cars, you could smell the BBQ Pit.  Very Appealing.

I decided to share a combo Feast meal with Mark and Dorothy and I am very glad I did.  The portions were HUGE.  I really enjoyed all the food, the smokey flavor was evident and the food was cooked just right.  It came with hogie garlic bread that was great and really enhanced the BBQ I put on it.  The Beans were great, had some onions and bacon in them and were very tasty.  The Sausage had a great smokey flavor and was just spiced right.

I did get to taste some wings that others had ordered, both BBQ as well as Hot wings and they too were fantastic.  Nice meaty wings and very tasty.

Jared and his staff were great to our group, even the delivery guy wearing the Crappy Red Shirt and driving that tacky truck  ;)  :D

The ambience of this Restaurant is evident throughout the place, the walls just scream BBQ and the High Top tables sure make meeting fellow BBQ Enthusists a blast.  We sat down with a great family who was there enjoying BBQ and they were lots of fun to talk with.

The tour of the kitchen was fun and it's always great to see real smokers in these places.

Great Job again Mark, this was a fantastic BBQ Restaurant and I would recommend it to everyone as well.

OK, the ASU Sucks is funny.  But, man if you park too long there, the gangs really tag your truck.

First of all this had to be my favorite place just because of the Guy with the ASU sucks shirt and his truck. Hope Mark paid him his five dollars for wearing the shirt to give Mike a hard time. Very funny. We had Brisket and pulled pork with fries and beans. The food was very good. We were really getting stuffed by this time, specially with every one passing around their orders for everyone to try. Thanks Mark, I was the one who ate your cookie, and yes it was very good.
