Mastro's is opening a BBQ restaurant, coming in April. It's Big Daddy's BBQ at 8608 E. Shea in Scottsdale. They'll be at the Arizona BBQ Festival too.

There are a few new ones opening.  The guys that owned Bad to the Bone are now featuring their Barbecue in the afternoon and evenings starting March 1st at the "Breakfast Joynt" on Northsite at Raintree, 14891 N Northsite Suite 119, next to Gold's Gym. They have an agreement as a joint venture to work with the owner to enhance his business and launch Theirs.

Hoping to get by there and see them next week sometime..

Actually, I got a sneak peek at their menu. The prices are by no means outrageous and they say it's going to have a very casual atmosphere.

I drove by it a few days ago... It's where the Maloney's was off of Shea and the 101. Should be cool!

I thought there was a Big Daddy's from Tempe???  They were competing at Havasu...
