It was great seeing everyone today, great turnout for a middle of the week lunch.

Smitty250, it was great finally getting to meet you as well.  Hope you had a great time, I know we did.

For some Reason, Tommy wanted to sit in a Highchair with a bib and eat Mac & Cheese.  Weird I know, but hey, who am I to judge...  ;D  ;D

The Restaurant looks great and you could smell BBQ walking up which is always a good thing at BBQ Restaurants.  One of the owners came by and visited with us for a while and it was great talking with him.

I ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich for lunch and I do have to say, it was a GREAT sandwich.  I wanted to try something other than the normal pork or brisket and I was glad I did.

They have a great menu there with everything from Hickory flavored Steaks to Fried Catfish PoBoys.  I will certainly be going back to try out more of their menu.

Had a blast talking with everyone and we sure had a few laughs.  Looking forward to doing this more often, great times as always..  ;)

I'll have to try that sometime, it's close to my neck of the woods.  I love catfish.  Sometimes it's hard to decide between the BBQ and the catfish.

That's one thing that seperates some restaurants from others.  Some have a "signature" plate, and everything else is just "ok".  Others make sure everything on their menu is good so you can't have it all at once and have to come back again.  There's a place by there, with other locations around the valley, called Rumbi Island Grill.  It's not much of a place, nearly fast-food, but I've been there four times, had something different each time, and loved everything I've tried there.  I will be back again, just to try the next menu item...they've figured it out.

I enjoyed meeting you Smitty.   It was good to see everyone else again.

I had the sampler platter which consisted of Chicken, Brisket and pork which came with good sized portions for a lunch platter.  We also shared a platter of pulled pork nachos that went pretty fast.  The food was good.  The sauce was sweeter than I prefer, but that's normal for restaurants since sweet appeals to a wider audience than spicy.

I'll have to go back and try the Tri-Tip.

My brisket sandwich was average and the Sweet Potato fries were underwhelming.

The company was good, however!  Tofu Tommy finally settled into his booster seat after we gave him a sippy cup of Patron.

It was great to meet you as well. I had the smokehouse burger with sweet potato fries. (I was practicing for the competition in Prescott this past Sunday and smoked a pork shoulder and brisket flat so I have been eating it since then. Wasn't sure if my body would go into shock if I ate pulled pork and brisket again.) It was good. Hard to mess up a burger unless it is over cooked. I liked the sweet potato fries. Overall I thought Bad to the Bone was pretty good. I hope to see ya'll again soon and am looking forward to competing.
