Title: Anyone with Milwaukee ties?
Post by: azkitch on October 19, 2008, 01:21:17 am
I lived there for 2 (extremely cold) years 26 years ago, (gee, mister, you must be OLD), and I never did eat at Speed Queen, but it was the talk of the town then. I just read a review on it on Roadfood.com, raves some more, but review was 8 years old. Are they still open? Not that I'd go there...

My ex-MIL used to run the postal station Klements Sausage is in. Always had a box of brats in the freezer. But Milwaukee was too cold!! BAH! Waited for a bus once, temps were -25* AMBIENT. And it was windy!!
