Title: Andrew's BBQ
Post by: Mike (AZBarbeque) on October 08, 2008, 02:14:04 pm: Tom and I stopped in and visited with the great folks at Andrew's BBQ today.

They just opened up and are located at 730 E. Guadalupe Rd. in Tempe. They are located on the Northwest corner or Rural and Guadalupe, next to the Albertsons.

Their place is fantastic, very open and inviting and the entire staff was happy and looked like they enjoyed working there which really filters down to the clientel.

I ordered up their special of the day, BBQ Chicken Breast with BBQ Ranch sauce and Cheddar Cheese. It was a great sandwich, very flavorful.

Tom had the Brisket meal with BBQ Beans and Mac & Cheese. He let me taste a bit of all of it and it was great as well. The brisket had a great smoke ring and a great smoke flavor to it.

The owner, Andrew was great to talk with, he gave us a full tour of the place and it is set up so nice, with plenty of room everywhere which makes it easy for prepping food and serving food.

We will certainly have to put this place on our next BBQ Crawl. If you are in the area, we recommend you stop by and say, "Hello". Let them know you are with AZBarbeque and try out some of their great BBQ.

Post by: Mr Smoker on October 17, 2008, 05:30:42 pm: The wife and I stopped at Andrews today, we had the pulled pork and ribs w/ BBQ beans and mash potatoes. We will be back to try more of the menu. I'm in for a crawl to Andrews any time.

Great Food :) I had the 1/2 rack of ribs VERY TASTY, my wife had the Brisket Sandwich and she loved it. My son had the Pulled Pork he loved it also and my daughter also got Ribs. We will for sure be going back and eating here, maybe next time we will make it into the shop.. Maybe we can get a tour also :)
ANYHOW I would recommend this to anyone.. Our family loved it

I told my wife I think it's one of my favorite places to eat now.

Post by: Mr Smoker on January 17, 2009, 02:15:55 pm: Stopped at Andrews yesterday for lunch, had three sliders,pulled pork,brisket and chicken with a side of beans. Very good. Andrew said he's smoken' around the clock, has to do 1k lbs of meat for the FDR Open. Good place to add to the crawl.

Andrew's is a great place, but I'm hoping to get a few more site sponsors from some of these BBQ Restaurants and the ones that support us are the ones we will be hitting.

Glad you had a great meal there. I too have have nothing but great food there every time I have been there. Great staff as well.

Post by: bbqnoob on February 09, 2009, 03:42:01 pm: Myself and a coworker stopped by there today for lunch and have to say that they have a great thing going. I order the Beef Brisket sandwich with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, everything was delicious! They even gave us some sample ribs which were awesome!

They're have a all you can eat BBQ lunch (the sign said every Tuesday) for $10 which includes a drink and dessert.. So I may stop in there tomorrow.
