I would love to get this smoker but the poster has not responded to my emails. If anyone has any details about this or has a simular set up. I am interested.

Not certain but from the description and looking at the picture it seems to be a direct fire grill not a smoker. A person could always hang a firebox off of it and make it an offset.

No need to hang a fire box, I started cooking on a horizontal 55 gallon drum.  You simply build the fire on the other side and offset your meat.
