Did you build that? Looks professional grade.  Nice looking smoker.

I built the smoker from scratch. I have a few and do not need too many smokers around the house.

I have two new ones and an older one that is larger. The larger cooker has 20x20 cooking grates with room for 8 racks spaced just over 3 inches apart.

I have never entered a competition but have cooked for over 150 people on two separate occasions. I like building smokers and have never had the serious itch to enter a competition, although that may change some day.

I am new here. Can this unit be converted to a pellet burner? The insulation should make it a good pellet smoker.

This cooker could be converted to a pellet cooker but not needed for the design. The lower portion is filled with charcoal and wood and it will burn for up to 16-20 hours without tending the fire. It is best to add an electronic controller like a BBQ Guru or like controller so you can just set-it-and-forget-it as the Ronco man would say.

I have both smokers sold that I have available. Will make a few more starting in mid May when I have the time.
