Happy New Year everyone, hope you had a great holiday and continue to have a fantastic 2006.

As expected, our prices on our BBQ Trailer units have increased with the new year due to many reasons, but I think you will all still find that they are priced incredibly well for this market and are really the best deal you can get on a trailer BBQ unit.

Remember, these are 4 in 1 grills, you can cook with Smoke, Charcoal, Wood, Propane or Steam or any combination of the 4, they really are fantastic units.

Call or e-mail us today to get a quote on one of our stock units or on a custom ordered unit.  The coming year will provide many opportunities for cooking some great meals, so make sure to get your unit today.

Happy New Year!!!

Regards,

Are those pits made by Travis? I have heard good things about his cookers. They sure know how to build nice gear in Texas.

Bear,

Yea, these are Travis' units out of Texas.  They are fantastic, we love them.  We are hoping to sell out of our currently inventory by Summer and purchase a few of the larger ones.

They sell like hot cakes back East, but for some reason, they just have not taken off here in the SouthWest yet, but we are trying to change that around.

I love the look on these, the way they are setup makes them very easy to cook on, and that steamer is a life saver..

I will try to post some more photos of this unit later in the week.

Hey all, we are dropping the price on our used unit to $3000 even, that's a $450 savings over a new unit plus this one is already licensed in AZ, has 2 propane tanks and has the Temperture gauges.

If you are interested in purchasing this used one, please contact us, it is in great condition and has worked wonderfully for us.

We are selling it so that we can bring in more inventory, so this deep discount is only for a limited time.  If you have been waiting to buy one, now is a great time.

We are currently scheduled to compete in the Taylor, AZ event and I'm sure someone we know will be using one of our units at our event in November.

Hopefully we will also have it in action at your event next March.

But you are more than welcome to come see it in action at any of our tailgating events.  ;)

Here are some more pictures of our rig....

This is from our Manufacturer....

Diamond Plate Grills are made in Ballinger Texas , the BBQ capital of the world. They are made of new 3/16ths plate steel.

Diamond Plate Grills have one of the best designs around. If you have ever tried to cook on a standard smoker, with the firebox at one end and the cooking chamber at the other, you know it is impossible to keep the entire cooking chamber the same temperature. With this smoker, the firebox is mounted at a 45' angle to the cooking chamber. Two 4" diameter pipes duct the smoke and heat upward. You get all the smoke and heat evenly dispersed throughout the cooking chamber. The smoker also has a unique steamer system, which keeps the cooking chamber humidity high. That means your food will stay moist and tender, instead of drying out.

The options with the Diamond Plate Grills allow you to cook with smoke, direct heat (choice of propane or charcoal) or a combination of direct heat and smoke . You can also cook with heat generated by the propane starter if desired. This means you can fire up the grill and cook on propane if you don't have time to start a conventional fire. This increases grill usage and versatility. The 3/16 th walls keep the heat in. These units are unsurpassed at keeping heat evenly distributed. Wood usage is remarkably low and the offset firebox helps keep ashes and unwanted burning materials out of the smoker unit.

With the burner option you can cook or warm sauces, fry fish, or cook anything over the two individually controlled burners.

We''ve had a lot of questions about why Diamond Plate Smokers builds the smokers so wide, instead of long and narrow like all the others on the market. Have you ever pulled a smoker that is 3'-4' wide? It bounces all over the highway and is extremely top heavy. This is a dangerous combination that could easily cause an accident. With Diamond Plate Smokers, you can easily and safely pull the smoker at normal driving speeds. Also, the firebox and cooking chamber on Diamond Plate Smokers are easy to reach. Plus, the tires on Diamond Plate Smokers are not to close to the firebox, thus they are not affected by the heat. The clearance on other designs allow the tires to get too hot and can cause premature failure.

At Diamond Plate Products, the smoker is designed to give the best performance possible, then the trailer is designed around the smoker. Other manufactures design the smokers to fit the trailers that are available on the market. Diamond Plate Products sister company has been manufacturing trailers since 1998, from small single axle utility to triple axle, dual tire industrial trailers. You won't have to worry about your smoker being safe, legal, and reliable when towing.
