Found some on the internet for $159.00 plus frgt -- I went to my local resturant supply house and talked to the gal I deal with all the time ---- she said that they sold here for $275.00, after some discussing that people in BBQ may be interested in the item she gave me a price of --- $187.00 plus tax ---
Do we have any interest?

That's what I thought it was.  I wonder if freight would be more than $30 though.

Not a bad deal.  How long will she offer that deal?

I kind of sprung it on her the other day -- If anyone is coming to the pork and brew, call her pay with a CC and I'll bring them to the Pork & Brew ---- I ran it through my UPS account as a mock shipping and it was $32.00 to Albuq NM

There was a thread about these and Cambros on Basso's BBQ Forum a couple of days ago.  I would love to see one of these or the Cambro in person before buying one.

We have a couple of thermo-electric coolers that we've been using as holding vessels and they've been working well for us.

I've seen the Cambro's before and they are fantastic.  They hold temps incredibly well.  Hummmm Some of these might be good prizes to give away... I will have to contact these companies and see if they want to help sponsor an event....  ;)

I'm not 100% sure about it but I think David has a Cambro.  He might even bring it out to the comp next weekend.

I bought one of the Carlise holders and freezer tray today,$159 plus $24.78 shipping FedEx to Phx.I have read on other forums that the Carlise in certain cases actually hold temps better than Cambros at a much lower cost. This will come in very handy for comps and events.

Hey Guys,

I did buy Cambro and will have it out there next  weekend.  Everyone is welcome to come on by and take a look,  As my name implies, you can never have enough Toys 4 BBQ'N.  The Cambro really does hold the products well, that at the steamer trays makes it a lot cleaner than the coolers.  I used it at Rawhide and around the house.  At Christmas the dry aged roast was cooking faster than I wanted to serve (Do to my nap  ;D), so I pulled it a little early and held it for four hours.  I came out perfect.

Carlise --- Liz from Taste Buds BBQ uses it everyday for her catering business --- open/close/open/close -- you get the idea --- it's several years old.
Anyone have some data on the Camdro
FYO -- may have a used Carlise in trade for a WSM ----
