Every Sunday, growing up. Standing rib roast with Yorkshire pudding, oven roasted potatoes and oven roasted carrots. I can still usually make a mean Yorkshire. Great with brisket!

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Just so y'all don't think I'm crazy oh no, too late!, when I followed the link, I got a video for making popovers, which are little egg/flour/milk quick breads baked in muffin tins. I have now seen the oven smoked ribs. And I'd like to sell him foil too!

Wish I could afford the whole tham ding--rib roast. We used to eat one every Sunday. Mom would put the oven on "Time Bake", and it would start automatically while we were at church. Come home to a mostly done rib roast. She'd half boil the taters and carrots, then stick 'em in the oven in beef fat to brown, make a Yorkshire pudding.

And from "Christmas Dinner Question" http://www.azbarbeque.com/forums/bbq-discussion/christmas-dinner-question/15/#quickreply

Yorkshire Pudding visual aid. When cooked in muffin tins, it's called popovers.
2 eggs
Cuppa flour
Cuppa milk.
Some salt
I added Thyme this thyme. (har har)
Heat the pan/skillet with 2-3 Tbls. of rendered fat or just oil before adding batter. Bake @ 425 ish for 10-15 minutes, lower temp to 325 for 15 minutes. Ish. It's very precise, as you can tell. This one was 1.5X the above recipe. I ate 2 pieces of it. And 2 of the other I made. Slathered in  beef gravy made from the drippings of the chuck roast. It's even better with rib roast!

Here here! What's the other kind? Wifey dumped loose cooked hamburger in one and stuck it in the oven once. It was pretty good. Don't know why we haven't done that again...
