You probably have already done this but just in case..
Get a can of Bush beans, chop up a couple of jalepenos and simmer it for about a half hour. Taste great! And if you are not into heat just pick out the peppers and enjoy the taste.

Oh yea, I have tried that and I also add some onions, garlic and cheese for flavor.....Now we are talking...

ok here ya go YUMMY!!!
2 cans B&M or Bush's "baked beans"
8 slices Hickory Smoked Bacon
1 small onion -- chopped
1 small red bell pepper -- chopped
1 small green bell pepper -- chopped
5 tablespoons BBQ Sauce
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
___OR___
5 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons mustard
2 jalapenos diced finely
enjoy

Ron, have you tried that recipe using ranch beans and adding a litlle jalepeno? That is what I had planned for the party, but beans never made it passed opening a can. A liitle overwhelmed and than lack of interest. Oh well, we are still fighting to eat what leftovers we can that can't be frozen before it gets tossed.

It aint easy and kind of tough finding all the weird beans but if you make it they will come! This is by far some of the best beans you'll ever have.
1 lg. Can Pork & Beans
1 can Kidney beans
1 can lima beans
1 small can yellow beans

Here you all go... This one make a whole lot of beans, alot of friends and a room full of gas...
Capt Ron's Home Style Beans
- 8.5 lbs Pork and Beans (store brand)
- 3 lbs Northern Bean (drained)
- 1 each Red, Yellow & Green Peppers (chopped large)
- 2 lb of Sweet Italian Sausage or hot sausage (in casing)
- 2/3 cup Molasses
- 2/3 cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/3 Golden Barrel Syrup or Dark syrup
- 4 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 TBS Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning
- 2 TBS Dry Mustard
- 1 Sweet Vadalia Onion(chopped large)
- 1 1/2 tsp Liquid Smoke (if cooking in oven)
Boil sausage; Drain,cool, remove casing & chop into nice size pieces;
Clean and chop peppers & onions
Add all ingredients to a large roasting pan and mix well
Bake for about an hour or until peppers & onions are tender; Stir occasionally
Note: If cooking on wood fired or charcoal bbq omit liquid smoke
