Here is a recipe for the burgers I make all the time. It ain't BBQ, but it is damn sure tasty. i get lots of compliments when I cook these. Let me know what you think.
Peteís Perfect PattiesNo Measurements, just put how much everything that you think will be good. If you like lots of seasoning add a lot, if you like mild seasoning use a little.
3 LB of Ground Beef
1 Egg
Around an oz or 2 of your favorite BBQ sauce
Salt
Garlic powder
Garlic pepper (regular Pepper will work 2)
Chopped up onion
Finely chopped garlicMixed everything together in a bowl
You will be making two patties per burger and inserting cheese into the middle of the burger. You can use any cheese you like. I prefer montery jack, but any cheese will work.
If you havenít seen your cardiologist yet and miss him, you can get a little crazy and add some bacon between the patties along with the cheese.
3 lbís of Ground beef will yield 6 to 7 burgers. I know that seems like very few, but if try to get 9 or ten, the burgers will end up being tiny.
While cooking, squirt a little Worchestier on the burgers. Cook like a normal burger and serve. Adding cheese on top of the burger is optional.
