Title: Cajun Shrimp Linguine
Post by: bearbonez on September 30, 2007, 08:22:25 am
This was inspired by Mike's Cajun shrimp. I put a load shrimp (about 1 lbs) in a couple sticxks of butter and about 1/4 c of Tony Chacherie's cajun seasoning. Throw it in the smoker till them shrimps are done..when they turn orange.
Than I removed the shrimp and set aside in a bowl. and placed the butter mixture in a sauce pan. Add 1/4 c white wine, and 1 small container of cream. Once it comes to a simmer, I toss the shrimp and fold together. let the shrimp heat back up (just a couple minutes). Than toss with a 1 lb package of cooked linguine. I went against the grain  with the no cheese and seafood rule and tossed some fresh shaved parmesan.
I gotta tell ya...it was GOOOOD!!
