Title: AZBarbeque BBQ Cook Book
Post by: Mike (AZBarbeque) on July 15, 2006, 11:52:31 am
Hey all, I was just brainstorming and thought how cool it would be to put together an AZBarbeque BBQ Cook Book and have it available by the Lake Pleasant BBQ Cook-Off.

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Would you want a copy of the book?

Thoughts, Ideas, Suggestions???  ???

I'm not talking about a hard cover book, just something simple with recipes from a few of our memebers.

I think it would be cool... ;)

I really like the idea. If it is too much work to get it out this year, remeber this is only the 1st annual lake pleasant cook off.

Hey all, this topic kind of died, but I would like to re-visit it.  One of our new members sent me a PM asking me about it and I think it is still a great idea to put something like this together.

What I would like to know is:

1.) How many of you would be willing to submit recipes for this AZBarbeque Cook Book?
2.) Would you be able to possibly do a step by step with pictures?

I would be willing to put it all together in binding and in color.

Please let me know.

Thanks

We could offer up a few recipes.  And photodocumenting food is one of our ecclectic specialties as indicated by the following observation made by one of my nephews:  "Uncle Vince sure does take a lot of pictures of his meat".

Hey all, we are seriously thinking about putting together an AZBarbeque Cook book in time for the November BBQ Cook-off.

Who would be interested in:

1. Submitting some recipes

2. Purchasing a book of recipes  approx price $10

Sound off...
