I've got a 12 lb. packer chugging away right now and I'll add in a couple of racks of spares a little later.  I smoked a brisket last weekend and used the leftovers to make some killer good brisket chili.  You can bet there'll be more chili with this round of leftovers too.

Well, the ribs turned out to be pretty good but that brisket is still chugging along and about to go into its 15th hour.

Hey Vince,

My wife just turned the 40 today and we had 30 people over.  I did 2 butts, 1 packer, 8 racks of ribs (2 spare and 6 B backs) I liked the spares better, and 24 thighs.  Playing with a few changes for November.  It was a great night, well it started last nights with the Butts and briskets.

We also had freash cole slaw, BBQ beans, Hot dogs for the 15 kids and a lot of drink.    I have Sierra Nevada on tap, wine and plenty of Non for who wants.  It was a good night.  I will be turning 40 next saturday, so we will see what that brings.

Is the brisket done??

Wow, David, that's quite a spread!  If anyone went home hungry it was their own fault.

My brisket is still going and it is just entering hour 17.  It won't be long now...
