Must have for bbq'in

 Welcome to all our new arrivals. I see a lot of folks just gettin into BBQ. Glad the obsession is contagious. I have a recommendation for everyone who doesn't have them. Get a copy of the barbeque bible and paul kirk's championship bbq.
 Along with the forum, these books are must have reference material. You don't need a library, but these two books are great. There are those times when you need fast help and don't have time for re: posts to come to the rescue (I've been there). Most importantly, to me anyway, is they have the how's and why's for properly building rub's, sauces, glazes, etc. Not to mention great recipes.

Very good information. There are some other books out there, but those two need to be the main stay of any collection.
