Bear, I do wish we lived closer...  ;D

Sounds tasty, wish I was there to help "Taste Test" for you.

Looking forward to cooking with you and Cindy next weekend, we are going to have a blast.

I am practicing on some Chicken this weekend and possibly a pork butt.

What's everyone else cooking??

Did 2 flat Iron steaks for fijitas last night (rapidly becoming my fav cut for that purpose).  I have some pork chops brining for tonight's dinner and I feel like some wood fired pizza in teh Kamado or BGE for Sunday.   MMMMMM  Pizza

I just picked up 3 CAB briskets yesterday for our friends 50 th wedding anniversary. I will also be cooking up 6 butts, 100 thighs and the 3 briskets for next Saturday.  So, while I won't be a stagecoach, I will be cooking like I am  ;D

Tilt a beer or two (or some Jack,  right Jay  ;D) for me this or next week.

Just got done with the American Cancer Society - Relay For Life here in Fresno.  Smoked 30 monster pork butts, grilled 800 hamburgers and 200 chicken thighs. ;D  Oh yeah, grilled 50 veggie burgers. :o
I'm not kidding about the Butts.  Most were about 12 lbs.  I was only able to fit 9 of these monsters on one grate. :o  The ones on top were the smallest ones.

Here's the other side: I shared the load with another team.  That's why it's not fully loaded.

Check out the work: http://s148.photobucket.com/albums/s39/topsbbq/Fresno%20Relay%20For%20Life%202008/?albumview=slideshow

Thanks goes out to the TOPS BBQ crew, Jason Fisher & JT (son) of Smokepranos, Ed Brown of Pig Feathers and Ramone Noska & Tyson (son) of Hog Me Tender.

Oh yeah, thank you to D-Dog for getting me some Maple Rub for the butts.  Everyone loved the food! ;)

WOW, those things do look monsterous, but very tasty.  Great job out there to all of you, it's a great thing you did and I'm sure it was very much appreciated.

DDog's rubs do go great on those Pork Butts, I use the Apple all the time.  Just ordered 100 pounds of it for Stagecoach.

How much was raised today, any idea?

Great pictures as well.
