looking good is it going to be a reverse flow cooker. I think I can see the stack behind the door but not sure.
How big of tank is it, and how big of fire box did you build?

It is a reverse flow with 1/4inch tuning plates the temps stay within 10degrees across the tank
The tank is 42x24 inches. I used an old compressor tank about 3/16 thick
The fire box is 20w 18d 20h made from 1/4inch steel

Very nice I have a reverse flow one to just a little bigger an old 250 gl. propane tank.
I just love it and it too was very even heat from one end to the other.

That is a great looking rig.
Haw often do you have to add fuel?
I did my first cook and used a lot of lump.
I guess I have to play with air flow.

Once I get it to temp and balance out I do a split log every 50-60 min.
I open the stack baffle all the way open and adjust temp with air flow into the fire box.
My fire box is insulated and double walled of 1/4" plate.
The tank it self is 1/4" too.

Thanks
I am using a BBQ GURU DigiQ with 2 25cfm fans. I used about 25lbs of lump
and some mesquite. The shoulders were great about 14hours @230deg.
Next time I think I will use one fan.
