Anyone got a good recipe for corned beef and cabbage?  I got a good BBQ cabbage recipe from Steve Raichlen, but nothing for the pair?

Anyone acquainted with Ireland knows that the morning of St. Patrick's Day consists of the night of the seventeenth of March flavored strongly with the morning of the eighteenth.  ~Author Unknown

I have a recipe for Corned beef but I have to dig it out as I only use it once a year!  You cook the corned beef with the cabbage and potatoes in some beer and then you make a glaze for the corned beef and finish it off in the oven.  It is great the first day and even better the next day on some bread.  Wash it down with a Guinness or a Smithwick's and you've hit food heaven!!  We'll be at Lis Doon Varna over at Arrowhead on Wednesday and I can't wait!!!

I make mine in a crock pot.   It's not the greatest but it allows you to enjoy the festivities of the day and eat it when you get home.  I was at Varna last year and it was a blast!
