I use my recep. Saw, (Porter Cable Tiger saw) with a Black & Decker Ugly Blade to cut up the wood I get from Thomas at Berry Brothers.  Cleaner and easier than using the Chain Saw.  I only need fist size or smaller on all my cookers, so that is how I do it.  I used to use my chop saw, but I caught a knot hole, it stopped the blade, broke the guard and I was just happy I had all ten digits on my hands.  ;D

The Tiger Saw is not as fast, but safer for me.

Missing fingers would limit me in counting to ten.   I guess I could use my toes  ;D

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

I used to work in the meat depart way back when.  A lot of hte real old timers were missing some parts of their fingers.

I once had the "bone in" saw kick back on me once.  I was happy I could still count to Ten, but I did have to go change my shorts.  ;D

Funny, but my Junior high wood shop teacher is now missing one of his fingers.  He had it when I was there, but a few years later the saw won.

ouch

That's quality stuff, right there!

My wood shop teacher in High School also was missing a finger....I think it is worn like a badge of honor in the Wood Shop Teacher Fraternity.
