We have a local performer who is a lot of fun. John Gurney plays guitar, sings, and is quite witty.
Every time he plays, all his tips go to St. Jude's. He will be playing again on Feb 7th from 6pm-8pm.

If you have the chance, come on out, and have some great BBQ and fun, and help out a great cause. No cover charge!

Come early, we will fill up quick.

Wow, that does sound like fun.  Unfortunately I will be in California at a BBQ Cook-off, but let me know when the next one is and we will do our best to be there.

If any of our members can make this event, take some pictures and post them up after.

Always love helping out a great cause and St. Jude's is a great cause..

If God wanted us to be Vegetarians, why did he make animals out of meat??

So far in the last few times he has played, we've raised over $700.
He and a cohort wrote a song they call the Wikieup song. We recorded it, and I produced it as well as burned the song on CD's. We sell them at the BBQ for $10. All the proceeds also go to St. Jude's.

I was lucky enough to be passing through Wikiup when he was playing at Joes.  Good show and great food.

As of last nights performance from John, we passed the $1k mark in donations, and will be presenting it to KFLG on March 13th at the radio station itself, and get a little airtime as well.
