I have been kind of quiet here wanting to see how many would whine and complain I will tell you one thing for sure this game played up to all its hype. Williams mistake didnt lose the game for them that was just one play. What about the rest of the game. The better team one on this day no matter how you put it winners always find a way to win. And another thing if Arizona doesnt get there defence out of prevent mode they are going to lose next week for sure.
So another year of CATS
and by the way Mike you sure are going to look good in that U of A shirt.

Mark, how can you say the better team won?  ASH manhandled UofA the entire game.  The only offense the Wildcats had was that one big run.  Other than that, they were shut down the entire game.  The blocked Punt for a TD was a good Special Teams play, but take that freak long run and muffed punt out of the equation and ASU was most certainly the better team on Saturday.

ASU got what they deserved even on UofA worst day ASU cant beat them. They have been not playing but are still able to beat the Scumdevils.

Wildcats did not win this game, Williams lost it for ASU. The way the Devils were working their offense the second half, they would have been the team kicking the game winning field goal had they maintained possesion.  Williams will live with that mistake the rest of his life.  Too bad, because he made some unbelievable catches in the game.

Dean that is sooo true! If you screw up in the ASU-UA game you NEVER live it down! You hear about it at least once a year. I heard Baker get asked about missing that field goal like 10 years later!

Oh I hear you Mark, it's all in good fun.  Mark (AZQer) and I were laughing about it earlier this week saying how if we have members or guests on here that don't know what good friends we all are, they will be thinking we are about to kill each other.

I love all the smack on both sides. I was brought up with this rivalry from Day One. I admire Danny White who doesn't even like to spend the night in Tucson. Now that's a Sun Devil. Heck. I won't even "drop a deuce" down south, lest it be misconstrued as a civic improvement.

Has UofA been a better team all season, Absolutely, but not this past Saturday.  ASU was certainly the better team in this past weekend's game.

We all know ASU's offense hasn't been worth a darn this year and we still were able to own the field in the second half.

But mark my words, ASU will win the next 4 in a row...

Things will get better at ASU next year if Ericson does not pick a QB and opens it up for a true competition between the QB's. And if they fire the offensive Coordinator and get someone who has some new and fresh ideas. If they do this I will have high hopes for next season if not I will cross my fingers and hope things go better!

Delusional, my man!!  "Better" does NOT mean the offense played better for one half.  If you hadn't noticed, there is a bit more to it than one half of offense.  I guess you didn't noticed the first half shutout by UA...........Or the 5 sacks............or the blocked punt...............or the better kicking game (better special team play overall -- kickoffs, punts, kickoff and punt returns).

But, go ahead and keep your delusions.  Final score  UA 20, ASU 17, and you can wait till next year.
