My question would be why they don't have video cams in the halls normally? With all the different people living in the dorms you've got no idea who is living with you not to mention next to you. You've got no idea if they're former gang bangers or burglars or worse.
 Heck they have cams everywhere in casinos and hotels to stop assaults etc so why would the dorms be any different?
