Lets face it, you ever heard a Head Coach say "we had a terrible recriuting year, these guys are slow and stupid".  They always play it up like they won some type of lottery, and there is plenty of blind fans to follow. I'm just surprised either AZ team still has a returning Head Coach. Stoops absolutely imploded and DE secured his "train wreck season" job with a short winning streak and win vs UA. Oh well, until then we can all brag about the slow and stupid, err...fast and smart freshman we are gettin!

Easy Dan! This isn't bad class considering they are returning essentially the whole team. Hard to get guys when they know they won't see much playing time. For U of A, they played decent ball in one of the best conferences in NCAA. Face it...Stoops is a Holiday Bowl hero. That's all he'll ever be. Too bad D. E. lost that Peat Jr. to Nebraska :P

No arguement here. I'm just not convinced that Stoops is the guy to get us over the hump, and that name will only take you so far. AZ is just not a football state, so it's tough to get good recruits and coaches. We are not FL, OK, TX or Michigan, so it's always an uphill battle. Who better is out there to coach who is willing to come to a non-football state?

Thank God UA Basketball is back, 19-4 and ranked once again. Saves my sanity. Not an awsome team, and playing against a weak Pac-10, but not bad.

I know what you're saying. I think U of A's football will be alright the next couple years. Has to be...now that they're is a new conference alignment they're going to have to keep up. This Pac-12 stuff is great for the college football out west.
