Title: ASU tickets
Post by: ddog27 on March 21, 2006, 12:19:08 pm
I am looking to upgrade my ASU season tickets this year. I sit in the upper end zone and I am going to get some better seats this year. Just curious where you guys that have season tickets sit? Do you like it?

Ddog,

our season tickets were in section 224, in the upper bowl on the Northeast side of the stadium.  We have been there for two years and I really dislike those seats.  It is in the sun all year long and it is also where the other team's tickets are, so we were constantly getting into it with them.

I am planning on going down to the stadium sometime in the next two months to see about upgrading our tickets as well.  Hopefully to somewhere on the West side of the stadium around the 50 yard like or so.

Let me know if you are interested in meeting up and going down there together, maybe we could get some seats together or close.

Should be a great season this year.  I am really looking forward to it.

We used to sit in the upper level end zone as well. We talked on Saturday and I think that we are going to get our tickets in the south endzone. Not too pricey and lower level. The only problem is my Dad and brother and his family all want to sit together so we need to get like 8 seats together.  ;D

Ddog,  I just renewed my season tickets, but we moved them this year to the West side of the stadium  Section 202, Row 15, seats 15 - 18.

If you want, call Grant Lunde at the ASU Ticket office, he handled my order and was great.  Phone # over there is 480-727-7700.

Let me know if you get some near me.   They did say there were a lot open around my seats, including the same row 15.

Hope to see you out there this season.

What did you tickets cost you? How much was the SAF gift?

DDog,

Tickets were $160/seat/season, Donation was $75/seat/season.

A bit more pricey than last season, but the seats should be better.

I called Grant and he said he would not know until after this weekend if he will have 8 seats together in the south endzone. He is going to call me back. So we will see if I can sit there.

That's awesome.  Hopefully he can find you some tickets.  After posting last time, I went back in and looked at it.  We have an extra game this season, that is why the tickets were more.  ASU is bumping up to 12 regular season games this season.  It's about time.

South End Zone is a good one, close to the band and all the action.

I have the schedule sitting next to my desk at work and I did not realize that they had 12 games! Awesome! We have a great shot at going 12-0 this year. I am also excited because my wife finally gave in and will be going to the games with me and my son. I have been taking my son with me for the last 4 years and she said she would start going with us this season. It should be fun!! ;D ;D

Ddog, That's great, I'm sure she will have a great time.  I too have been taking my son for a few years now.  My wife and Daughter come to all the pre game festivities, but they get bored at the games....My wife says I am too intense at them...  What does that mean????  ???

They probably go to about 2 or 3 of the games a year, but like I said, they are at all the pre-game festivities.  They really love them.

This year we got our parking passes for lot #4, so if you are going to get a parking pass with your season tickets, try for that lot.

Hope to see you out there this year.

We were in Lot 4 last year. Is Lot 4 going to be where the tailgate will be held?

Yea, we will try to get out there early enough to secure a bunch of spots in a corner somewhere.

Oh yea Ddog, you have to get them trained right from the start.  That's where I went wrong.  I didn't take my wife to an ASU game until we were married a few years.  She never was a football fan..  Can you believe that???

She is slowly coming around now though.  ;D

Just bought my tickets this morning. We are in the south end zone. Section 41, Row 11, seats 10-17. 8 seats together and we start on the aisle in case any of the kids need to use the restroom. I can't wait!  ;D ;D ;D
