2006 Cam Tontozona Dates/Times

Below please find the 2006 Arizona State University Camp Tontozona dates and preseason football practice schedule. Please note that the Camp Tontozona dates have changed since I last sent them out.

Friday, August 4 - Practice #1 (helmets), 6:20-9:30 p.m. (Kajikawa Practice Facility)
Saturday, August 5 - Media Day, 1-3:30 p.m. (Dutson Theater, Carson Center)
Practice #2 (helmets), 6:20-9:30 p.m. (Kajikawa Practice Facility)
Sunday, August 6 - Practice #3 (shells), 6:20-9:30 p.m. (Kajikawa Practice Facility)
Monday, August 7 - Practice #4 (shells), 6:20-9:30 p.m. (Kajikawa Practice Facility)
Tuesday, August 8 - Practice #5 (pads), 6:20-9:30 p.m. (Kajikawa Practice Facility)

Note: For the first five practices (Aug. 4-8), the entire team will practice from 6:20 until 8:50 p.m. Then the newcomers will continue to practice until 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday, August 9 - Practice #6 (pads), 7:30-10 a.m. (Kajikawa Practice Facility), Practice #7, 6:45-9 p.m. (shells), (Kajikawa Practice Facility)
Thursday, August 10 - Depart for Camp Tontozona at 8:30 a.m., Practice #8, 3:40-6p.m.
Friday, August 11 - Practice # 9 (pads), 8:35-11:05 a.m., Practice #10 (shells), 3:50-6 p.m. (shells)
Saturday, August 12 - Practice #11 (scrimmage), 8:35-11:05 a.m.
Sunday, August 13 - Practice #12 (pads), 8:35-11:05 a.m., Practice #13 (shells), 3:50-6 p.m.
Monday, August 14 - Practice #14, 3-6 p.m.
Tuesday, August 15 - Practice #15 (pads), 8:35-11:05 a.m., Practice #16 (shells), 3:50-6 p.m.
Wednesday, August 16 - Practice #17, 3-6 p.m.
Thursday, August 17 - Practice #18 8:35-11:05 a.m., depart from Camp Tontozona Friday, August 18 - Practice #19 (scrimmage), 7 p.m. (Sun Devil Stadium)
Saturday, August 19 - No practice
Sunday, August 20 - Practice #20, 6-8:30 p.m. (Kajikawa Practice Facility)
Monday, August 21 - First Day of Classes, no practice

As always, interviews will be held after all of these practices/scrimmages. You are allowed to shoot all of these workouts until we return to Tempe from Camp Tontozona. Then, beginning Sunday, August 20, you can shoot the first 30 minutes of non-team drills.

So, what day are we going to plan to go up to Camp T?

That Friday, August 11th seems like a good day.....  Or maybe the following week during the week.

Friday, August 18 - Practice #19 (scrimmage), 7 p.m. (Sun Devil Stadium)

I am going to try and attend this one. Anyone else planning on attending? A great way to spend a friday night!!
