We are working on putting together a very informal Brisket Contest sometime in April.

It will be held out at one of our Sponsor's Restaurants and will be a fun event.

We know everyone is working hard at perfecting their meats for the contests coming up and thought that this would be a good opportunity to get some feedback on your Brisket's from everyone.

Each person will bring a fully cooked Brisket to the event.  We will then have you slice your brisket and everyone there will get some.

It should be a great event and a good opportunity to get together on a more informal event.

We will post more details soon.  Stay Tuned... Wink

Sound off if you are interested in participating in this event so we have an idea of how many briskets to expect.

Entry, Prizes, trophies and prize money are still to be determined.

We are looking at FREE Entry with possible gift certificates and trophies for the winners.

Depending on the weekend that could be fun, as long as you need a brisket to show what not to do... Grin!!

I could cook a brisket and use the drive down as the resting period.   Wink

I've got a couple extra Pork Butts lying around.....six in one half, half a dozen in the other, right?

Either way I'm in.

Hey Mike!  That sounds good to me.  Though I can't participate in the brisket cooking, I sure would like to get in on some of the sampling.
