BBQ Yard Sale

Hi Everyone,  I have spoken with Mike about having a BBQ "garage sale" where people can bring their assorted rubs, sauces, knives, pans, tools, and any other BBQ related item that they no longer use to pass on to others that may need them or just want to try them for a good price.  We aren't 100% sure where we are going to have it yet but if you think it's a good idea or have items you would want to sell just let me know in this thread so that we can gauge if there is enough interest.

Thanks!

We have a bunch of stuff we don't use anymore.  We'd defiantly be in for the sale.

I suggested something like this a couple of years ago and nobody was enthused at the time. I'm in. ;D

I think we should bring our rubs in a unified volume...say one cup to a Ziploc bag. That way they could be equally traded. Bring 5 bags, take 5 different bags home. It would be fun to cross-pollinate with our individualized rubs to allow fellow AZ BBQ members to try something different. Especially fun when we all will be cooking different holiday foods for our family.

Mark is so smart...  I will gladly bring enough rub to trade around.  That sounds fun and it may help everyone think outside their individual boxes.

Hi Everyone,

Let's all just meet where the cooks meeting is being held right after the cooks meeting.  I'm guessing that will be at 5:30 or so. All of us can go grab what we are looking to get rid of and we can convene and share/sell/swap.  This should be pretty cool.
