Come on guys, you know it is not a comp unless you battle either rain, wind or judges.   ;D

Last year the weather held until the awards ceremony, hopefully it will again this year.  Weather is awesome up here today.

The hardest thing about smoking meat is keeping it lit.

I would head to Harbor Freight and gets some large tarps to stretch over your canopies.

I have both, but I find that the zip on sides don't hold the water out as well as a tarp so I use a large tarp that will go all the way over the canopy and it also keeps the water off the tent sides and helps keep the wind from pushing the walls into my tables with heavy rain.

It never hurts to have double coverage, both from driving rain and as insulation from the sun's heat.
