Title: Donated Smoker - Fundraiser

A HUGE Thank you goes out to Mike West & BBQ Island.

As usual, they have come through once again.  Not only are they sponsoring the Friday Night Appetizer Party, but they also donated an awesome new Smoker for the event.

One of our BBQ Teams young daughter has a friend that suffered a MAJOR head Trama and is in need of some serious medical treatments.

We have discussed it and feel the best use of this Smoker would be to help raise money for this little girl's medical expenses.

We hope you will join us in helping out this little girl and purchase some raffle tickets.

A friends daughter had a brain Aneurism last saturday and has two brian surgeries this week. She is still unconcious and is battling to keep her pressure under control. Jenna Naylor will have a long fight ahead of her and her family could use the help. Thanks to BBQ Island and AZ Barbecue we will be able to raffle off this new smoker off to give the family some finacial help. We will announce all of the details at the cooks meeting. See everyone tomorrow.

Very special thank you to Mike West and BBQ Island for the smoker and all you do to help support all of us. Y'all make what we alittle easier and a whole lot of fun.

Thank you everyone for your support. We where able to raise just over $1200 in raffle tickets and donations. Jenna's Dad and sister came by the event and where very touched by everyone's support and encouragement.

For the people that asked where they can mail a check to, you can mail them to me at 1131 n cottonwood Ct, Gilbert Az 85234. You can make the check out to Robert Gomez or Kenneth Naylor and I will make sure it gets to them.
